To clear "TIME FOR SERVICE" from the Saab Information Display, press and hold the "CLEAR" button for at least 8 seconds. A signal will be heard indicating reset. After the 21st restart of the vehicle, the "TIME FOR SERVICE" message will be cancelled.

It depends on what kind of Saab it is, but the principals are mainly the same. Just yesterday I changed the rear brake pads on my 2003 Saab 9-3 and it was really easy.
