If you are referring to the check engine light, it is reset with an OBD2 scanner.
I don't know about the Grand Prix, but my corvette owners manual tells me how to reset my check engine lights with some buttons on the dash. If not, contact your local Auto Zone or other reputable auto parts and buy a scanner as mentioned before. These scanners can cost as low as 25 dollars and as much as you possible want to spend. I bought the cheap one and the manual told me how to reset the device codes. Good Luck.
