Ok, on the pass side, bottom of carb you should see a hole or plug inserted into hole just above the egr valve. If plugged, drill it out to get access to idle air mixture screw. With car off start by turning in all the way, then back out 3 1/4 turns. start car and adjust back/forth till you get the highest idle. Then set idle speed screw (check under hood label)...repeat the entire process again. HOWEVER, if you've done nothing to the vehicle and the idle has gone south, I would pull the EGR valve off first. I'll bet it's jam packed full of carbon deposits. Clean it, re-install and check idle before messing with carb. If you have a hand vacumme (for bleeding brakes), apply vacumme to the egr after cleaning it. If vehicle doesn't die, the EGR is bad. Good luck...

Hi
in the gas tank
Try putting in new spark plugs, air filter and maybe an oil change. One of your fuel injectors might be clogging so it's best to put in a few gallons of the expensive gas (higher octane than 87) and a bottle of fuel injection cleaner. If you run your air conditioner keep in mind that your air conditioner will usually make your car run at a lower idle and also loss of power.
