On my aurora, I just hold in the reset button.............
Does not have one.
How do you reset antitheft in oldmobie auroa
hold the engine reset button in until it resets
To reset the computer on a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora, you must press and hold the on/off button for a few seconds. This will switch the computer from English to Metric mode or which ever way you choose. This information can also be found in the owner's manual on the first section of the DIC programming section. Hope this information helps someone out there. Aurora owner, Dennis
Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for 30 seconds. The PCM will reset.
Check
I doubt if it can be reset. Probably a sensor fault if it is reading incorrectly.
When "low tire pressure" shows up hold down on the RESET for several seconds
Hold on/off button and reset simultaneously for 3 secs
Holding the button down for several seconds should reset the display info to zero
This is how it works in my 1998 AURORA. I don't recall having an OIL CHANGE LIGHT. In the information center under the display are a series of buttons. To get to these you need to press a small black button to the right of the display. This will open the cover revealing ten labeled buttons. These buttons are used to display various pieces of information. Pressing the ENG button will cycle the display through OIL LIFE, TRANS OIL LIFE, OIL PRESSURE, BATTERY VOLTAGE. While the display is reading OIL LIFE, press and hold the RESET button until the OIL LIFE display resets to 100%.
