Properly inflate tires, drive car, light goes out.
by getting all tires to the correct pressure, this includes the spare.
The monitoring system resets itself as you drive when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure.
Has anyone out there experienced my problem? After replacing a tire on 2006 DTS the service tire monitor system warning is on. I have relearned all tires okay, but cannot reset tire pressure sensors. Please help, I cannot afford service calls.
only way to reset it is to fill the tires with the proper amount of air. they all need to be within 1.12psi of each other
Assuming that no new pressure sensor has been installed, to reset the TPMS light, first inflate the tires to the manufacture's recommended pressure. Then drive the vehicle for five miles or more at 40 mph or greater.
If the tpms light in your jeep patriot is on, it means that the pressure in your tires has dropped too low. To reset the light, you simply have to inflate your tires to the right amount of pressure.
check your tire pressure and then read in your owners manual for how to reset the light If you have checked all the pressures in all the 4 tires, check the spare tire pressure. For soem reason, the sensors also monitor the spare tire. I hope that helps
Fill the tires up with air they will reset after that
The light usually comes of when the pressure is right and equal in all tires
to reset A tire pressure monitor (TPM) is easy all you have to do is drive for a a selected amount of miles i know ford it is around 25 miles and the computer resets and adjusts the sensors for you hope this helpswww.amagicalmoment.co.ukhttp://goo.gl/7Bqhw If you have rotated the tires and need to reset the tire locations, the procedure is in the owners manual. Some Fords require a tool to do the procedure and the tool is kept in the information packet in the glove box.
inflate your tires to recommended pressure (including spare tire) then turn ignition to on (don't have to start the engine) then press the button under the steering column for a few seconds until the light comes out
