Turn the key to the "on" position without starting the car. After the dash light test completes (all the lights go off except what should be on) fully press the accelerator pedal to the floor three times. The oil life light should start flashing, indicating that it is reset.
I have a 2007 and I have to push the trip button until the oil life indicator shows. Once it does I have to push and hold the button until it says reset.

The service indicator light, in your Mercedes ML 270, can be reset by holding in the engine oil life button. The engine oil life will go to 100 percent. The service indicator light should go off.
I am guessing they mean Oil change reset button. If so. There is a reset button in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Turn your key half way, open the fuse box, press and hold the button for 15 seconds, look at your dash. If the light is flashing you have reset the oil life indicator.

Keep pressing the reset button until you see the Oil life % on the display. Once you have that, then hold the reset button in until the display flashes. Let go for a second and then press and hold the reset button again until the display changes to 100%.
Turn on the ignition but do not start vehicle. Your engine and oil light will come on. Press on the accelerator three times and hold it down until oil light disappears. You have reset the oil life indicator.
Try turning the key to "on" position without starting engine, then depress the accelerator to the floor 6 times. Shut key off and then start vehicle and check oil life indicator
press info botton until you come upon "oil life" then press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds
The service indicator, on a Mercedes E 200, can be reset by scrolling to the oil life screen. From the screen hold down the scroll button until the percentage goes to 100 percent.
Most likely you will have three buttons labeled INFO-SETUP-RESET on the inside of your vehicle. If you press info until you get to the indicator for Oil Life, you should be able to press and hold reset to...reset it. Please refer to your owners manual in future cases
