Turn key but do not start engine, Push the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times,
Then turn key off and then start engine.
If you have a Driver information Center, DIC, then you reset the oil life monitor with the button with the check mark on it when the oil life message is on.
If the warning lights go off in a Chevy Tahoe, it indicates a problem. In order to reset these lights the problem must be solved.
Try turning the key to "on" position without engine running and push accelerator to the floor 6 times
Write the date and mileage on a small sticker and cover the light with it.

THE EASIEST WAY TO DO IT YOURSELF IS TO UNHOOK THE BATTERY. iF YOU DO HAVE A PROBLEM THOUGH, THE LIGHT WILL COME BACK ON.
Chevy did not use a reset / Inertia switch on there trucks.
If the original problem that caused the abs light to come on was fixed, the light will reset itself after a short drive. If the light remains on, you still have a problem with the abs system.
