If you plug it in to your iTunes account it should open for you. Once it is open, change the passcode.
just take it to the nearest apple store i guess and let them check it out
You have to restore the iPod through iTunes.
go under settings -- general --- passcode lock
You go to Extras> Scroll down and press Screen Lock>
you need to know the actual passcode... settings/general/passcode lock
If you mean passcode (safety lock, asks for code on wake up):go to Settings on the Home Screen> General> Passcode Lock> (enter your passcode)> Turn Passcode Off> (enter your passcode again)
