You need to give him/her some time to get over the fight, then you need to apologize for letting a fight get in the way of your friendship.
If your BFF truly is a good BFF, they would agree with you that a silly fight, can't break up such a strong friendship. If the argument was about you being right and her being wrong about something, just tell her she's right and know in your mind that you really were right. If it was over a crush, let your BFF have them unless you don't think your friendship is as important as this person you may or may not end up dating. Besides, nothing should get in the way of your friendship.
