If you've got at least $10 and an hour, it is easy. Your local auto parts store has several Headlight Restoration Kits. Essentially, the clear coat on the plastic or acrylic headlight begins to break down after years of use. That is when oxidation and wear begins to set in. The kits polish or sand away this top layer to reveal a fresh clean layer underneath. The key is to ensure you get a kit with a protective coating to put on top of the freshly polished headlights. Yellowed, dull, or fogged headlights are a safety risk, so when you have a chance, get them clean!
