T28 products are miniature remote controlled airplanes and their accessories. Reviews for these products can be found on Amazon, Eham, and Horizon Hobby.
There is no "Standard" choke. A5's could be purchased with one of many different chokes, however, the more common chokes on a 28" barrel were Full and Modified
The first jet to drop bombs was the F100 Super Sabre as it was deployed to South East Asia in 1961. The first aircraft could be the WWII surplus bombers the A26 Invaders (formerly B26 Marauders), WWII surplus fighters (modified into fighter/bombers) Bearcats and Hellcats. The first post WWII planes would be the trainers T28 Trojans (prop driven) which were the first modern post WWII airplanes to see action in Vietnam. To recap: 1. First post WWII surplus plane to drop a bomb in the Vietnam War, probably the T28 Trojan by the South Viet Air Force. 2. First jet to drop bombs in the Viet War; the F100 Super Sabre.
None. You have yourself a phantom tank though... T-28: an American Super Heavy tank, only 2 were built at the end of WW2 There were eight mainstream Panzers, only the Panzer 8 would compare to the T-28 Panzer VII: a Nazi super heavy tank near the end of the war.
Yes, and created in the image of the US military. The South Viet government had a Marine Corps, Rangers, and Paratroopers, plus an air force and navy...equipped with US airplanes (T28 Trojans, A1 Skyraiders, and F5 Freedom Fighter jets). Their army had M41 Walker Bulldog light tanks, and their navy had former US warships. Their infantrymen wore US M1 steel pots (WWII, Korean War style helmets) and were armed with US infantry small arms.
The newly created nation of RVN (Republic of South Vietnam) in 1954/55 also needed an army, navy, and air force. Therefore the US deployed US troops to RVN to train the new country's military forces. In additon to the deployed men, the US supplied tanks, planes, helicopters, artillery, small arms, helmets and uniforms, and riverine boats for their new armed services. After that, the US military trained the RVN forces in the image of the US military to include creating a South Viet Marine Corps and Ranger units. Pilots of the South Viet Air Force were deployed to America and taught pilot training for their newly acquired T28 Trojan and A1 Skyraider propeller driven warplanes. Note: The T28 was actually a US trainer and the A1 was actually a WWII DESIGNED (but never used in WWII) dive bomber. The South Viet AF, US Navy, and US Air Force all flew the A1 Skyraider in combat during the Viet War. Its call sign was "Sandy" and was often referred to as a "Spad." The Trojan was adequate but the Skyraider was an excellent close air support fighter bomber able to carry heavy ordnance loads and stay on station for hours.
Technically speaking, there were actually many tanks that have participated in WW II. For example, there was a super heavy tank called the T28 equipped with the 120 mm gun, built to counter other super heavy tanks such as the German tank Maus. Another USA tank was the T29. The T29 also had "brothers and sisters". The T29 is a prototype heavy tank designed with the 105 mm. It was made along with 2 other prototypes called the T30 and the T34. The last tank made was the T32. The T32 was the real deal. There is also another USA tank called the M10 Wolverine. There are many many more USA tanks but I'm not sure when they were made.
Are you asking a question about the South Vietnamese Air Force? If so, their records are most likely destroyed...South Vietnam was conquered by the North Vietnam approximately 35 years ago. The former North Vietnamese Air Force has existing records, and most of theirs have already been published in English speaking books; such as Osprey's, Squadron Signal, etc. publishing companies. Two such books are titled, "MiG 17 & MiG 19 Units of the Vietnam War", and "MiG21 Units of the Vietnam War." Both are obviously North Vietnamese Air Force units, since the South Viet AF only flew A1 Skyraiders/T28 Trojans/and F5 Freedom Fighters (jets).
The US supplied T28 Trojan (Trainers) single engine airplanes; A1 Skyraider attack airplanes; M1 Garand rifles and M1 carbines (which they liked alot better!), and among a whole list of material, the US supplied them with M113 APCs which they converted into light tanks. GIs called them ACAVs (Armored Cavalry Assault Vehicles). In addition, the US supplied the South Viet army with M41 Walker Bulldog light tanks...a far better tank than the M24 Chaffee light tank that they had been equipped with.
