When you come to the point in the game where you are helping Telma and Ilia get him to Kakarko Village, it can be quite difficult. It took me several tries! But don't give up!You will first defeat the goblin leader on the bridge. Once you do, he will drop the key to the gate that leads to Hyrule Field. (It will always be night.)
Dismount Epona, unlock the gate, and quickly mount again.There are several things you need to manage along the way. Once you open the gate, Telma will immediately start off; you need to stay close by the wagon. Many things can go wrong if you get too far behind!
The goblins on the boars will come from the left or right (depending on which console version you're on) and they will be wielding flaming arrows. They will set the wagon ablaze, and you need to Z-target it with your Gale Boomerang to put out the flames.
Along with this you will have to sword fight the goblins.They will continue to remount and chase you. It's better to stay with the wagon, then to try to dismount and finish them off.
On top of everything, shadow birds will drop bombs from the sky, throwing the wagon off course. This can be frustrating, because it can force you to run circles over and over. Use your Hero's Bow to shoot them down.
If you keep it up, you will eventually make it to Kakariko Village, where the shaman can work to heal Prince Ralis. If you mean that you want to get him back to Zora's Domain afterwards, when he's at his parents' grave, you cannot. He'll do that on his own eventually.
