You reverse a bad omen by freeing yourself of its power. An omen only has the power you allow it to have. If a number of people hear and believe a bad omen, its power is increased, but only as long as they continue to believe in it.
A very simple and direct way to reverse a bad omen is to demonstrate its source or origin. Almost always, the source is completely natural, and only appears to be magical. For example, an owl sitting or flying near one's house is often thought to be a bad omen. But if there is a nest of mice close to the house (perhaps beneath the porch!) the owl would stay close to the house to feed on the mice. Knowing that, the "omen" loses its power.
The same method works for any omen, whether it's a black cat (a harmless kitty going home,) a red moon (colored by dust in the atmosphere) or any other fearful sign. It is only frightening until you uncover its natural source.
The word omen is not a bad word
This can be a good or bad omen. If you don't like bees it is a bad omen however if you appreciate their role in nature it can be a good omen.
