How do you rewire the airbag connection in a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue--having problems with disarming the airbag to do any work to it?

unplug the battery for 15 min to disarm air bag The mfr recommends (and so do I) that you unplug the SIR (air bag) fuse first. Wait 15 minutes. Then disconnect the harness connector to the air bag itself if you can get to it. The connectors are supposed to be bright yellow. The battery disconnection method may work on some cars, but not all.
