∙ 9y agoBurrs are annoying. You can dig the plants up in the spring. You can use things like Preen to prevent weeds after you plant the plants you want. You can use poisons but they affect animals such as Monarch Butterflies. Make sure you cut they down before they seed.

∙ 9y agoThe burrs are seeds. Prevention is a good idea, but short of pulling the existing weeds by hand and gathering the burrs as they fall off, there will still be stickers in your yard.
