Run for 10 minutes using max 90% throttle using about 3500rpm to 10500 rpm braking smoothly back down to about 3500rpm.
Carb Settings - Low Jet - 1 1/2 High Jet 1/3 turn
Stop let it cool down. Check spark plug for carbon build up/fouling.
Do another 10 minutes using 4000rpm to 12500 rpm
Carb Settings - Low Jet 1 1/3 High Jet 1/2 - 2/3
almost all go kart engines run the same rpm so it wont go anyfaster it will have more power but wont go faster then any other motor unless you change the gears they normally run about 3400 rpm
The correct mixture is 50:1 for run in motors. I would be suprised if your engine isn't run in unless its been rebuilt.
it depends on your thermostat degree should be between 195-210 degree. have you ever had the motor rebuilt to were it may run on some other type of gas because the type of fuel can make a motor run hotter than usual
maybe but it might not run you can get a kit from go kart galexy
mine ran about 60 wen it was stock
Mostly run around the store with a cart that is a go kart for little kids mostly
It means your controller button is jammed.
Try to clean the carb
motor energy
You can but the motor may not run, however you will not burn the motor.
i just rebuilt my 1982 Honda xr 100 and just good old fashioned 10w 30 motor oil it does just fine . You need to run straight 30 oil in your motor for it does not have an oil filter, this may not sound right but straight 30 traps dirt and keeps it at the bottom of the motor. This is an old school trick I am not shure what viscosity the factory oil is but in the long run it will pay off to run straight 30. Good luck
To do a motor solo run test you need to connect the motor to a power supply. Next, you observe the motor's vibration, temperature, and sounds.
