depends on the program you are using. in ms Paint or Photoshop you can do Save As. and pick .gif (compuserve gif its sometimes called) from the file type menu. in Fireworks you can export it as a gif. Saving As likely wont save any animation if you're trying to do that, you'd have to export it as a gif animation(at least in fireworks)
first open a gif image, which image you want to save... then see the download button... if you found this btn then click ... and if have not the download link, simple right click on the perticular image.. then "save image as" then where you want to save.
You can right click on the image(if on the internet) then click "Save Picture As..." then select the destination where you wish to save the image.
If in a photo editor go to File > Save As then select the folder in which you wish to save it in, name the file and click save.
You can save a GIF the same way you save a regular picture.
A .GIF is a file and is saved like any other file.
go to file , click save as
The extension is actually immaterial. It merely serves to give the operating system a hint as to the file's content, allowing the file to be associated with a particular application, such as a GIF file viewer or an image editor application. In order to save a GIF file, you must first re-encode the image (assuming it is not already in GIF format), and save the output to a file with a GIF extension.
click on it and put it in the recycle bin. or, select it and press delete
Photoshop's "Save for web" supports PNG, JPG and GIF.
Open the File Explorer or Finder application on your computer. Navigate to the folder or location where you want to search for GIF files. In the search box, type *.gif and press Enter. This will show you all the files that have the .gif extension in that folder or location.
Save a gif to your computer and upload it as your profile picture on Twitter.
you save the animation as a GIF file, then open Windows movie maker, import the GIF file, then add it to the time table. now import the sound file and add it to the time table too, and just sync them. save the file as video file and your done!

Just open the jpeg image in photo shop and go to menus : file --> save for web and devices. A save for web and devices window will open, set its extension to gif then click on save button. It will save your jpeg image to gif image. Cheers

Just insert the gif into flash then save the flash file, or try and find a convertor on the internet.
