Matthew smells, would mean 'Matthew is smelling'. (Matthew Nuha'eet) Matthew is smelly would be "Tam yest zapakh at Matthew". Which would mean "There is a smell coming from Matthew". I tried to translate as best I could, and the translation will sound perfect if you know how to imitate a Russian accent!
