Mandarin House is quite popular in Shanghai.. The teachers were really nice and the location in the middle of the city. The accommodation was really fun, I was at a shared apartment with other friends and we really had fun. The teaching materials were very useful (I still review them when I have time). I stayed there for only two months, but I would recommend to stay as longer as you can, then Chinese really needs time.
