well dont tell the person whos interviewing you stuff about things you like or personal stuff. tell them where you went to school, if you've ever had a job before, what your good at, sports or activities you were involved in, and your strong points but keep it simple dont go into detail and dont lie.

∙ 14y agoYou should always have a 90 second commercial about yourself worked up and well rehearsed. Whenever someone asks for "a little information about yourself" you can launch into it.
The advantage of having it prepared are you hav a coherent statement to make, which showcases your best points.
The good thing about having it well reheasersed is that you can practice giving it in a strong confident tone without umms and errs

∙ 8y agoIn a job or school interview, I can see your gender, your approximate age, your race, etc. But I cannot see who you are. I need you to tell me. So I ask, "Tell me about yourself." You can include your goals, hopes, what you do (school), what interests you (that might match the interests of the employer), etc. For example, "I have three cats and volunteer with a rescue agency" would fit well if you are applying to work at a vet's office.
