I'm not sure how to seal your leaking tail light...but I had the same problem, even after replacing the original tail lights years later, I ended up with the same problem with the new tail light assemblies.
Anyway -- since I wasn't able to seal the tail light assembly, I took the tail light off the car and in the top of the tail light assembly above the area where the water was leaking in I drilled a small hole (that you couldn't see when the light was reinstalled) and then a slightly bigger hole on the bottom of the light where the water collects. The air flowing through the top hole forced the water out of the bottom hole. Start with real small holes and increase a little at a time if needed. I hope this will satisfy you problem.
It all depends on what part is leaking what fluid. Brake cylinder would leak brake fluid. Axle seal would leak gear oil.
Seal in brake caliper is leaking and needs replacement Flexible brake line to the caliper is leaking and needs replacement
chances are its a leaking brake booster or rear seal on master cyl.
Hub seal is leaking
if it is brake fluid your brake cylinder is bad if it is gear oil you have a bad axel seal
Worn seal. Replace the caliber and bleed the brakes.
brake booster could be bad the seal around the rod that hooks to the brake pedal is leaking
A piston seal is a gasket designed to keep fluid from leaking around the piston. Piston seals are commonly used in brake calipers.
IF you have rear wheel drive it may be a grease seal for the rear differential. Otherwise it is probably a wheel cylinder. Check your brake fluid level. GEt this fixed ASAP- Safety concern. Wheel cylinder, brake fluid.. If it's a rear wheel drive vehicle, it may be the axle seal leaking as well. Hello... hello...
your main oil seal on the rear of engine is leaking or the timing cover seal is leaking,
If your brake is leaking,Its easier to replace with rebuilt ones, then to change the piston and seal,. And you should change both
NO... They are 2 different seals. If the transmission seal is leaking then the fluid color will be RED that's leaking. If the rear main seal is leaking then it will be oil leaking from the engine and it won't be red.
