the welcome page is the page that has a random smattering of your friends' status updates and photos and the wall is your personal space for your statuses and things that your friends write directly to you.

When you log in your Facebook account, a page will come, showing the recent posts by your friends. Within your profile page you can control who can view wall postings made by your friends. To do so, click on the "Settings" icon on the wall in prodile page. Next, find the box pictured in the image above and adjust the setting which says "Who can see posts made by friends?
No only your firends can see them. If you are talking about people of Facebook which you are no friends with then no. Your friends that do not have facebook can not see your profile or posts.

It appears on their homepage which is their wall. If by homepage you mean the first page you see when you look at the FaceBook page then, no.
If you are on a PC and not a Mac you can push CTRL-F and it will bring up a search bar to where you can search for a certain word. When you type in the word you are looking for it will highlight that word on the page so you can easily find what you are looking for.
At the very bottom of your Feed on the Facebook home page, you should see an "edit options" button.Clicking this will bring up a list of all the friends you have hidden, and give you the option of un-hiding them.
