You want to utilize a state or county database (primarily the county records office to search for tax liens). The state of Tennessee doesn't publish the information themselves, so of course you have to find it yourself through county websites. I use http://alltaxsales.com to reference me to any county in the country. The reason is because I am from California, and I invest in Pennsylvania, California, Texas, Tennessee, New York, and Florida primarily. Other sites will give you some, but this is the best site I have found for a full and complete list, remember there are other sites out there, but none for a true county database for any state.
