No it will be deleted from their mentions too. Unless they received an email notification from the original tweet. *others may say it still comes as a notification but they can't get to it, that was in the past, the one that Erik Gruber posted is current.

To see a larger picture of someone's profile picture, simply click on it. To see photos uploaded to their Twitpic or other photo account, click on the link that they post to their profile and you can see all of the pictures that have been uploaded.

If someone has blocked you on Twitter, you'll be able to send tweets to them, but it won't appear in their mentions. The only way they'd be able to see it if is they unblocked you to see it. They will be able to tweet you as normal, but they won't see what you tweet them.

To see tweets that you are mentioned in (as long as the @ is mentioned before your profile) click on your @mentions tag. To see a hashtag that includes you, you'll have to use the search function as there's no where on your profile that shows this.

You can simply click on Tweets on your profile and scroll to see them all. If you have deleted the tweet in question, unfortunately, you will be unable to recover it.
