1. Salt will dissolve in carbon disulphide
2. Now we have a mixture of iron filings sugar and carbon disulphide(salt dissolved in it)
3. Separate iron filings by magnet.
4. Remove the sugar by Decantation process.
5. Separate carbon disulphide and salt by distilation.
To retrieve the iron just use a magnet. To retrieve the sulphur just put the remaining mixture in water and dissolve it. Then using a filter paper filter the solution, the sulphur which is not soluble will remain on the filter paper and to retreive the sugar from the solution just re-crystallize it.
Xylitol is a 5 carbon sugar and fructose is a 6 carbon sugar. They are separate compounds and derived from different sources.
You can separate sugar from water by evaporation of the water.
No. You can separate sugar from water by evaporation.
evaporation is used to separate sugar and water.
Use a magnet
Use a magnet to separate the iron filings, filter the remaining sawdust and sugar water solution, evaporate the water from the sugar water solution.
Use a magnet to separate the iron filings, filter the remaining sawdust and sugar water solution, evaporate the water from the sugar water solution.
we can separate it by magnetic separation..(use a magnet and iron gets separated)
water and a magnet
Put a small amount of the mixtureon paper Put a magnet underneath Swirl the mixture around so magnet gets filings Tip paper so sugar goes into a container Remove magnet so filings go onto a separate container May need to repeat in case some is missed

Either use a strong magnet to attract iron files away from the sugar. Or, dissolve the sugar in water and pour off the sugary liquid, leaving the iron filings behind.
A solution of sugar (sucrose) in pure water
Remove the iron filings using a magnet (set aside)Mix the salt and sand with waterRun the mixture through a filter paper, leaving the sand (set aside)Boil the water until it evaporates, turns into a gas and runs through tubes to a separate chamber *remove the sand (set aside)remove the water (set aside)ALL DONE !(:*distillation-look up model
