How To separate rock salt?

Steps: 1 : pour the material into a beaker. 2 : Add water to the beaker (salt dissolves but rock salt doesn't) 3 : Pour the solution through filter paper and a funnel (into a dish) 4 : Heat up the dish (this is evaporating the water from the salt) AND YOU ARE LEFT WITH THE SALT!! By Max O. 7T
We can use crystallisation but remember that salt is different from other substances in that it must be evaporated to dryness

1. to grind the rocksalt into warter

2. to put the rock-salt in to a beaker and mix it with warter

3. to stir it all up

4. then get a filter paper and funnel and a conical flask

5. fold the filter papr in half twice then grip between when 3 is on one side and 1 is on another side

6. then insert the filter paper into the funnel

7. then pour all the warter in the beaker into the funnel make sure it goes through the filter paper

8. then pour all the clear warter into a evapurating dish

9. put the evapurating dish on th gause of the bunsen burner kit

10. leave the dish on there until the warter starts spitting then turn your bunsen burner off.
