Well, if it's your normal Delco radio that's been in about a zillion GM cars,
look for two tiny buttons labeled H and M. (for Hour and Minute) If memory
serves, you might have to depress them with the tip of a pen or a toothpick.
At any rate, you have to hold them in for a second or two before they begin to change
the time. This is so you don't bump them accidentally and change the time.
You REALLY have to want to adjust the clock!

Yes, it still shows the clock but nothing else.
On the right side of the display there are tow little holes labled H and M for hour and minute. Turn the radio on and when you have the time use a papre clip or something similar , and push in the hole to set time.
If it is a stock radio, turn the car radio off to where no sound is coming from it but the clock is illuminated. Press the "clock" button and hold until the time starts blinking. On your station preset buttons at the bottom of your radio, button 5 has an "H" on it and button 6 has an "M" on it. Press button 5 until the correct hour displays then button 6 until your clock reflects the current time. Finally, press the clock button to allow the radio to accept the changes.
If you have the stock radio in you Grand Am, you will have to get really close to the radio to find the clock button...it is not colored, it is just slightly raised. It is very hard to find, tho. I don't remember just how to set it, but I do remember that it is much easier once you find that hidden clock symbol.
if your asking if you can put subwoofers on the stock radio then no you have to have an aftermarket radio
The way on how to set the clock in your car, would depend on the tyoe of clock/radio in it. My first suggestion: check and see if it is the original clock/radio installed. If it is the "factory stock"(the clock/radio that it had when first built, sold, etc.), would be to check the owner's manual. On later models there will be a pair of arrow buttons labeled "Audio" that you can use to set the hours and minutes separately. Simply hold each one until the time begins to change. If, however, it has been replaced by a different clock/radio system, you are going to have to look up the kind installed into it. For better or futher advice, contact your nearest auto part/repair store. If you need a clock that bad...buy a watch!
On the stock radio of the 01-05 civic the clock button that the book is referring to is one of the preset buttons. Look for the small letters that read "clock" on preset 4-6. Sorry i don't know the exact but it's definitely one of those.
If it has the stock radio there are two holes about the size of the tip of a pen in the screen just to the right of the display. The top one is hours, the bottom one is minutes.
