Look to the right of the time. There are two small holes one lableled "H" (hours) other labeled "M"(minutes). Take a ball point pin or something of that size and hold each one down. While holding the button down press the search forward to adjust the time. I use to have a 2001 and now i have a 2006 Rubicon so i think it is slightly different but if i remember correctly that is how it was done.
You look in your owner's manual. If you do not have one, go buy one. That is the best source of information.
