I have one of these watches and have enjoyed it for years. Start by looking at the watch, and note the four push buttons on the sides. Push the one at the lower right, at about four o'clock on the watch face and hold it in for a few seconds. The display should say "hold to set". Then you will have the time displayed, with the seconds blinking. Press the upper right hand button to start seconds back to zero. The press the lower left button and the hours will begin blinking. Press the upper right hand button and advance one at a time through the hours until the current hour appears. Continue to follow this same pattern for minutes, month, day of week, day of month, etc. After you have all of the things set to the current settings, hit the lower right hand button once more to leave the setting mode and return to the regular display mode. After you experiment with the watch for as few minutes, you will begin to find the setting to be quite straight forward and logical. Here's another reader's comments : I have a Timex Atlantis 100 watch which does not operate in the above manner. Timex has a link to some general instructions for setting an Atlantis 100 (and other watches), but mine appears dissimilar and does not agree or operate in the manner set out in Timex's Instructions. Check out these Timex links for yourself (you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view & print it): http://assets.timex.com/instructions/w3Instr.pdf http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_set_a_Timex_Atlantis_100_watch&updated=1&waNoAnsSet=2 In the meantime, I figured out how to set my own Timex Altantis 100 as follows: 1. Push the "Mode" button (lower left) until you get to the screen you want to change. 2. Press the "Set" button (upper left) for two seconds, until one portion of the screen begins to blink. 3. To change the blinking portion of the screen, press the "Alarm" button (upper right). 4. To change another portion of the same screen, press the "Mode" (lower left) and repeat step 3 (above). 5. When finished with your changes, press the "Set" button (upper left) once. -end-

The Atlantis 100 uses a CR2016 disk-type battery. You'll need a very tiny screwdriver -- the type that comes in an eyeglass repair kit or a jeweller's tool set. Remove the 4 tiny screws to remove the back cover. Remove the cover and lift the watch assembly out of the case, being careful not to lose the black rubber ring gasket from the back of the case. (This is what makes your Atlantis waterproof.) On the circuit board on the back of the watch, there are three tiny screws, at 2, 4 and 7 o'clock, which hold the battery contact assembly in place. The battery will come out with the contact assembly when they are removed. Be careful not to damage the gold spring contact next to the 7 o'clock screw -- slip the assembly out from under it. Pay attention to the polarity when you replace the battery; flat side (+) toward the contact assembly, the side with the ridge around the edge (-) toward the circuit board.
Simply reverse the procedure to reassemble your watch.
