We have been working on the headlights on my 1997 Cadillac Catera for about 3 weeks. They have not been right for about a year and we finally decided to take them apart and fix them. Bad idea! Even repalcing them has become a nightmare, as we can not find used ones that do not have broken adjusters, so we decided on JB Weld.....the assembly crumbled! If it is in your budget, it may save you weeks of headaches to just go to Cadillac .com and order new ones, but be prepared to pay up to five hundred for a set. The Cadillac Corp. has, in the past, been very helpful in trouble shooting. I love my Catera, but am not happy about this headlight problem. I wish you luck! the secret is to have the radio off set button then just play with scan and seek
press the 'clock' button and follow instructions on the read out
it might be your fuse. Does your seat warmer work?
With the ignition on, press and release the "set" button on the radio. Within 5 seconds, push the "Scan" button to set the hour, push seek to set the minutes.
Turn the ignition to run. On the radio controls, PULL the scan button out to set the hour. Once the the hour is correct, PULL the seek button out to set the minutes.
On the radio there is an icon that looks like a clock. It should be the top right button. Press the button and the time display will appear. Turn the tuner knob to adjust time and then press it to set the time. As soon as you set the time, the clock on the instrument cluster will automatically set.
If by the clock you are talking about the one on the radio it is very simple. 1st> press and hold in the clock button for about 5 seconds 2nd> while still holding in the clock button press the SEEK button for the hours and the SEARCH button for the minutes. 3rd> release the clock button and you are all set
To set the clock on your 1994 Cadillac DeVille, turn the ignition on with your key. On the bottom right corner of the clock you'll find the 'set' button. Press the button and immediately press and hold the 'seek' button. When the clock gets to the hour you want, release the 'seek' button. Next, press the 'set' button again and press the 'scan' button, and hold it while it scrolls through the minutes. When it displays the correct minutes, release the 'scan' button.
turn off the radio, and then push set, and then use the search/scan buttons to go up in your hours and minutes. :)
