1st take out the 1st cylinder spark plud bring the cylinder to the top then set the rotor to the mark before the 1st cylinder firing pin then on the distributor gear there in a thin line line that up wit line on the block then slide in the distrubutor then hook up everything if it doesn't work u did domething wrong

There are no timing marks. The timing is controlled by the PCM. Power control module. It is not possible to set the timing with a timing gun.

if you look near the center bolt on your main pulley attached to the crank you will find a small arrow, use a white paint pen to mark it so it is visible, hook up your timing light and time using the timing marks attached to your engine block
