I only know about the 2004 V6 I have. There is no way to set the timing. The engine computer controls the timing. Not much one can do to newer cars today. Some of the members of the Toyota Nation forum are interested in more power and performance. Maybe one of them can tell you how to set the timing. If you are talking about changing the timing belt, visit Toyota Nation forum.

Small block 350 points and timing marks how do i find the right info?

Use Chiltons repair manual for the model year. Then you will find the engine specs. The points gap at 0.019 and the dwell will set at 30 The timing should set between 8 to 10 degrees before top dead center. Remember that changing the timing will change the dwell. Timing changes the dwell. but the dwell don't change the timing. So set the timing first.

How to install timing belt on 2000 Toyota Camry?

Many people recommend to purchase a Toyota Repair mannual. I think it is around $15.00 USD. The belt cost around $30-$40 and it takes around 4-5 hours to get done. I think if you check out some specials from Toyota Dealer, they charge around $300 for a timing belt change.

1971 Pontiac 455 Ignition timing?

If the engine is stock, I'd set the initial timing at 12, make sure the timing mark starts to move when you rev the engine off idle, and watch it advance up to somewhere in the 30 - 35 degree range when it stops. Do this with the vacuum advance disconnected. Then with the timing set at 12 with the engine at idle, hook up the vacuum line to the distributor and see that the timing now shows somewhere in the high 20's to low 30's of timing.
