IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) for Hotmail allows users to access their Hotmail emails on their iPhone while keeping the emails synced across multiple devices. When you configure your Hotmail account using IMAP on your iPhone, any changes you make—like reading, deleting, or organizing emails—will reflect on both the iPhone and other devices. To set it up, you'll need to enter the IMAP server settings for Hotmail, which typically include the incoming mail server as "imap-mail.outlook.com" and the outgoing server as "smtp-mail.outlook.com." This ensures a seamless email experience across your devices.
To set up multiple Hotmail accounts in Thunderbird, first, open Thunderbird and go to "File" > "New" > "Existing Mail Account." Enter your name, Hotmail email address, and password, then click "Continue." Thunderbird will automatically configure your account settings; if it doesn't, select "IMAP" and enter the server details: incoming server as "imap-mail.outlook.com" and outgoing server as "smtp-mail.outlook.com." Repeat the process for each additional Hotmail account you want to add.
To set up your Hotmail account in Thunderbird, use the following incoming server settings: for IMAP, use imap-mail.outlook.com with port 993 and SSL/TLS encryption. If you prefer POP3, use pop-mail.outlook.com with port 995 and SSL/TLS encryption. Make sure to enter your full Hotmail email address as the username and your password.
To set up IMAP on your iPad, go to "Settings" and scroll down to "Mail." Tap on "Accounts," then "Add Account," and select your email provider or "Other" if it's not listed. Enter your name, email address, password, and select "IMAP" as the account type, then fill in the incoming and outgoing server details as provided by your email service. Finally, save the settings, and your email should be set up for IMAP access.

There is no "website" that can create email. Email is a type of communication handled by a server through a certain protocol (POP3, SMTP and IMAP being the most common). There are various free email services that offer a free email address like Hotmail, GMail and Yahoo! Mail. However, if you wanted to set up your own mail server so that you could use a custom domain, protocol, etc., you would need to install software such as SMTP and IMAP.
I'm not sure how to set it up on that individual client, but here's some important information: If it works with an IMAP (IMAP4) server, go to your Gmail settings, go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and make sure 'Enable IMAP' is selected. Click 'Save Changes.' If not, select 'Disable IMAP' and 'Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded).' (Receiving mail and custom folders) IMAP server: imap.gmail.com IMAP port: 995. (Receiving mail) POP server: pop.gmail.com POP port: 995 (Sending mail) SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com SMTP port: 465 (This is very important, as this is NOT the default port for SMTP)! If this is wrong, try Gmail>Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab>Configuration instructions. Hope this was helpful!
To set up IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol), you need to first have an email account with a provider that supports IMAP. Then, in your email client or application, go to the settings to add a new account and select the option for IMAP. You'll typically need to enter the incoming mail server (e.g., imap.example.com), your email address, password, and possibly the outgoing mail server settings. Once configured, your email client will sync your emails and folders using IMAP.
A spam folder is automatically included with a hotmail account. Within hotmail, one can designate certain specific emails or emails with general characteristics as spam and hotmail will then automatically send such emails directly to the spam folder.
