smd No... you can't record chat with a capture card, unless you have it set to play through your speakers. And, even then, you can't record your own voice.
this video will show you how to set it up if your TV doesn't have an output: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCaM8Xr1itk
'Ground Capture' is an anime-only card and has never been printed as a real card.
In order to record gameplay on an Xbox 360, you need a capture card such as the Pinnacle Dazzle, and multiple TV splitters if your TV doesn't have an RGB in and out. Another possibility is set up a video camera in front of your TV at just the right amount away.
For this I am going to assume that you are using it for a DVD player or a video game system. You will need the dazzle itself, and the software disk that comes with the dazzle. You plug the Red Yellow and White AV cables into the Dazzle. If you want to watch what you are recording (watch the DVD on the TV as it is being recorded, or play the game as it is being recorded) you will need 3 AV splitter cables. The cables should be 2 male (output) and one female (input). Here is a picture of what the may look like. ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31TelR%2BsCYL._SL500_AA300_.jpg You plug one of the male ends into the dazzle and one into the TV.
No.
You can either set up a camera on a tri-pod or buy a 'capture card' a capture card is merely a device that transferes what is on your TV to you computer and it saves it as a movie.
No you need your normal wires
It depends... If you are willing to pay the money of about $200+, then go ahead and buy the PVR. But, if your budget is very limited, you should buy the dazzle, as it only costs about $50 (DO NOT BUY THE $90 DAZZLE ITS JUST A WASTE OF MONEY). The only thing about the dazzle is that it is harder and takes more time to set up. The dazzle records in 720p HD and the HD PVR records in 1080p HD, but when viewing on sites like youtube, there isn't really much of a difference. I would get a dazzle, because it is much cheaper, and I am pretty good with electronics, and even if you are confused, there are a million videos on youtube that show you how to set it up. 720p might not be the best, but it is still crisp, clear, and non- blurry.
no, but you will be playing on a 5x5 screen with a 0.5 lag time - edcartcart
