For this I am going to assume that you are using it for a DVD player or a video game system. You will need the dazzle itself, and the software disk that comes with the dazzle. You plug the Red Yellow and White AV cables into the Dazzle. If you want to watch what you are recording (watch the DVD on the TV as it is being recorded, or play the game as it is being recorded) you will need 3 AV splitter cables. The cables should be 2 male (output) and one female (input). Here is a picture of what the may look like. ecx.images-Amazon.com/images/I/31TelR%2BsCYL._SL500_AA300_.jpg You plug one of the male ends into the dazzle and one into the TV.
They have tutorials on YouTube
Tutorials to set them up and where to buy the the instructions are on this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVfA71xQF4g
smd No... you can't record chat with a capture card, unless you have it set to play through your speakers. And, even then, you can't record your own voice.
this video will show you how to set it up if your TV doesn't have an output: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCaM8Xr1itk
In order to record gameplay on an Xbox 360, you need a capture card such as the Pinnacle Dazzle, and multiple TV splitters if your TV doesn't have an RGB in and out. Another possibility is set up a video camera in front of your TV at just the right amount away.
No you need your normal wires
'Ground Capture' is an anime-only card and has never been printed as a real card.
No.
You can either set up a camera on a tri-pod or buy a 'capture card' a capture card is merely a device that transferes what is on your TV to you computer and it saves it as a movie.
no you need to set up an account before you can use a gift card
you need the dazzle dvc 100 to record ps3/xbox360 gameplay. you also will need three splitters (two female one male), your consoles cord with the red white and yellow and last a double ended red white and white cable. A set up like the one described would not work on systems connected with a HDMI cable and would only be for connection to a Standard 480i TV. The 3 splitter set up would actually allow you also record from any RCA input audio/video recording system (DVD, VCR, ETC) and not require a dazzle package
There are many types. For some games, there are ways to do it within the game itself. one example is for Jedi Academy. One can open up the console in-game (SHIFT+~) and type /record, and a recording will ensue. To stop that recording, you type /stop. Although, that is particularly for that game, the most easiest and widely used recording device for games is a program called FRAPS. FRAPS is a program that you can run while playing a game, and hit a key while playing that game to start recording, and hit a key while in game to stop recording. It is very easy to use, and stores your recorded files for you in any given any you choose them to be stored. A FRAPS Evaluation download can be downloaded at http://www.fraps.com/ With this version, you are only alotted 30 seconds of recording time. It will then automatically stop, and then you must start it again. this can be done any number of times.
