you cant
Can't.
No you can't at the moment (firmware 2.1). It is frustrating.
yes
Yes if your setup of the console is the same in america
You need to use the component PS3 cable that comes with HD PVR 2 to connect to the PS3 and then use the HDMI to connect it to your HDTV
If the PS3 is already wireless then it should connect to any internet network via a wireless router. Sony's PS3 support site has all the information you need for your setup.
First you need a WiFi router or modem with a cable or DSL broadband internet Service. The PS3 will search for the signal and you can then allow the connection to be made. You do this from your setting menu > Network Connections.
ANY TV that you have the ability to connect the PS3 too. That means at least an input for RCA video and audio plugs to allow the PS3 to Connect. An HDMI plug on a HDTV is the ideal setup that the PS3 was designed for, but the other will still work to provide a picture as clear as the television gets without the PS3 connected.
You have to have a router. When that sends out signal, your PS3 will catch it and you will have internet. First setup your router. Then go to the Network setings on your PS3 and then click on "SCAN" . Then your router name should show up on the screen. Click on that and enter your password (If you have one, I recommend that you do). Then go to your PS3 browser and connect to your router and then the internet should work!
Its a matter of opinion, personally, I prefer the PS3, since I'm used to that setup more, having been using the same general thing since the ps1
It would be possible for someone with administration rights to the system to set it up. Few libraries WiFi systems would even be in range of a PS3 set up in your home.
