First, you need a hook hair needle and hair thread. You must wash and dry your hair. Then have then section you want extentions in braided in cornrows. Then, you take the extentions and measure them according to whatever section you want the hair sewn into. Cut the extention to fit the measurement. You then place the extenions on the cornrow and sew around the cornrow and the extention.

∙ 8y agotake a needle and a thread and put the thread through the hole (also known as the 'eye') in the needle. Tie a knot at the end of the thread and put the needle through the material and pull until the knot gets to the material. put it back through the material and pull. keep on repeating these instructions until you get to the end of the material and you will find a dotted strip of thread left behind. and remember to knot it up at the end!

∙ 14y agoThese are some simple steps to sew on a sequin:
1) Place the sequin on top of the fabric in the position the you want it
2) Pull the needle up through the fabric so that it goes through the middle of the sequin, don't pull the thread all the way through
3) Push the needle to go to the underneath of the fabric at on side of the sequin
4) Repeat this again on the first needle until the thread is secure.
5) Do the same thing for however many sequins you want to sew on

If you are attempting to sew fused items, sew through multiple holes in the item to secure it flat to the fabric. It is often easiest to sew beads to fabric if it is under tension-- using either a hoop or a scroll frame is really handy, or you can staple it to a frame (which will support a lot more weight if you are doing a very heavy beading project).

How do you sew bead-work and sequins on a wedding dress?
This is one of the more common ways, but it's certianly not the only way to sew a sequin. You need thread, a sequin, a bead that is smaller than the sequin and larger than the hole in that sequin. a needle thin enough to fit through the hole in your sequins. the fabric you are attaching it to. hold your sequin flat against your fabric using your thumb and forefinger (or pointer). The thumb should be on the top of the fabric with the sequin and the forefinger underneath the fabric pinching everything together. bring your threaded needle up through the back of your fabric. Preferably through the hole in the sequin. If you miss your sequin, before the needle is all the way through the fabric, thread the sequin onto the needle. Pull all thread up so that sequin is flat against fabric and sewing thread is all on the front side of the sequin. Thread the bead onto the thread. Put your needle back down through the hole in the sequin (the way you came out) and out the back of the fabric. The bead will be holding the sequin to the fabric. You can also make a small stitch through the back of the fabric to 'stay' the sequin after this step, but if you are moving on to add more beads and sequins it's not totally nessisary.
