Plug it in, open folder with music in and then in a different window wherever you want to put the music. Simply drag and drop the files/folders in.

Maybe the format of the song is not right.The format of the song/music should be compatible with the device.
If the phone has Bluetooth you can use that with a recent Mac. You need to turn on Bluetooth in the Mac's System preferences and then pair the phone with the Mac.

You are likely to have to put the music on the phone manually. If the music you want to put on to your GD510 is in ITunes then open your home folder/Music/Itunes/Music and then you should be able to Copy + Paste your tunes onto your phone or phone memory card. Just remember .mp3 is the best format for the LG pop. Believe me this gets quite annoying after a while!

Unfortunately, it seems that you can't. Apparently the mac just cant read the J700. It could with the older generation, the J600, but it won't with the J700.
