Do many chores. Help out. Don't argue with people. Do chores that you hate without hesitation. If you are messy, be very clean. Start showing your knowledge about digs. When you think you have a chance, then create a persuasive speech. It should include all of your responsibilities, what breeds are right for your family, and who would do what about taking care of the dog. I did this, and we now own a puppy named Gracie. I hope this strategy helps you as much as it helped me.

∙ 14y agoDo you have a stuffed toy dog or something? You might be able to pretend that it's a real dog to show your mum that you are capable of looking after one. But also just remember; dogs are a big responsibility. You have to walk them, feed them, give them a bath, and if your dog injures itself or gets sick, the vet bill can be very high. Then, if you don't want them to have puppies, you have to spend more money on getting them spayed. Think about it.
