If you do not have a subscription, you can simply close all your listings. Once all sales are completed and all listings closed, your Seller Account will be inactive. You do not need to maintain an inactive seller account in any way. If you have a Pro Merchant Subscription, you need only cancel your subscription, delete all your open listings, and finalize all sales. After this, your Seller Account will be inactive. You can still place orders on Amazon.com when the seller portion of your account is inactive.
