go to the general store get the broken mirror from the top shelf take it to the telescope by the pirate who's looking for a way to signal the ship use telescope to find ship sailing at sea click on mirror in the bottom left corner then go to dock
You don't. Do you want them to come back and shoot up the village?
Once you have read the parchment in the Governor's house, you can signal the right person.
(see related question)
you have to go into the shop where you got the chicken feed and the lady will give a broken mirror to you when you click on it. then you click on the telescope on the tower near the dock. spot the raft. the mirror will be in the lower left hand corner. click on it. the ship owner will give the raft to you in return.
Ta Da!
When you click in the lower middle of a ship, the prompt "embark" appears.
Click OK on the tab, press the spacebar (anchor up) then place the cursor in the direction you want to sail. When arriving at an island, you must first press the spacebar (anchor down) then click the dock area.
To move the boat, you place the cursor in front of it, and steer it left and right. To leave the piers, click on"Embark", then on "OK" (you are ready to sail), then press the spacebar on your keyboard to lift the anchor.
(You can control your turns more precisely if you drop the anchor while sailing, then raise it again.)
The shipwright is one of the skilled crewmen, and can be found at the Ship Shape shipbuilders at Dragon Cove. When he is aboard, repairs will slowly be made to damage on your ship, while you are still sailing. This allows you to better survive a battle without having to dock at a port. The shipwright's one-time fee is 20,000 doubloons. You should hire him around the same time as you buy your third or fourth ship (Koi or Steaming Fury), when he is affordable.
You should see your boat in a bird's eye view. You basically just move your cursor where you want your boat to go and it will follow. If you have cannons, clicking your mouse will fire the cannons where your mouse is pointing. If you want to fire cannons, be aware that the ship will start to move in the direction you are firing. You can use the anchor to stop you temporarily when you need to, but you are a sitting duck for attacks when you do.
The only ship you go on is your own. You begin with the raft and you buy larger ships as you can afford them.
If you did, they might come back in and shoot up the village again! -- The mirror is for signaling friendly ships, but it is only used once. (see related question)
Your Life gauge shows whenever a pirate ship or a sea creature is nearby.
Just dock in an island and your ship (or raft) will fully heal.
After you have used the blue candle on the Governor's parchment, return to the telescope atop Fort Ridley. Although previously there was only a pirate ship visible, now there will be a raft. The raft belongs to the husband of the woman on the beach near the Governor's house. Get the broken mirror from the upper right shelf of the General Store and you can signal him at the telescope. He will come ashore and give you his ship. (see related question)
The cannons on your ship!
You go into any harbor.
After you collect all 5 map pieces, the new island (Skullduggery) appears near the Pirate Outpost. But there is nothing you can do there right away. You have to continue to accumulate doubloons, so that you can buy a ship that can beat Captain Crawfish. You need the largest ship, the Phoenix warbird, and the skilled crewmen: the Shipwright and the Cannoneer. Once you defeat captain Crawfish, return to Fort Ridley and the governor will give you the directions to the buried treasure on the small island.
The mirror can signal a passing ship seen on the telescope atop the fort.Until you read the parchment at the Governor's house, the only ship that will appear is a pirate. You will have to :get the doubloon under the covered bridgebuy the feed at the general store (where the mirror is)feed the chickenstake a chicken to the corn farmtake the blue candle to the Governor's house
When you have all of the map pieces from the 5 trading islands, the 6th island (Skullduggery) appears near the Pirate Outpost. You cannot do anything there until you have beaten Captain Crawfish. This will require the largest ship, the Phoenix Warbird, as well as hiring the Shipwright and Cannoneer. Once you have beaten Captain Crawfish, go to see the governor and he will give you the directions to the buried treasure on the hidden island.
I think so... he's one of the pirates who may attack you while at sea. If you bring down his ship, maybe she'll give you a reward.
Petey's Pirate Pub is at Parrot Port. Go to the far right of the island and enter. There is a cracker on the second floor (to the far left) that comes in handy. Also there is the skilled Navigator who is available to help your ship sail faster. Her fee is 12,000 doubloons.
