I ran a smoke test and found that the vapor canister had a leak at the seem. I put sealer on the seem and solved the problem no more po446 code!
Small leak in the evap system. You need to do a smoke test
Gross evaps leak. Caused by, the emission control. common parts are the gas cap, purge solenoid, vapor canister, o2 , or cat converter. go get a smoke test.

Well if that is the code you are getting when using a scan tool , it means there is a leak somewhere in the fuel/evap system. To actually pinpoint the leak, you would have to do a "smoke test" to see where the actual leak is taking place. That type of test really needs to be done by a mechanic that has the equipment to do it.

P0455 means a gross leak detected in the Evaporative Emissions System. Some call this a "gas cap" code, because the most common cause a loose or failed gas cap. But it could be caused by any vapor leak in the fuel tank, filler neck, or anywhere else in the vapor management system. If it isn't a gas cap, you will need tol take it someplace where they have a smoke machine that can find the leak using smoke.
A pcv valve that is stuck open allows oil vapor to be burned without a lot of smoke. I would replace this first.
Yes, it can rule out an actual leak as a cause for a fault code and can be used to see if the pump itself is leaking.

Large vapor leak in the evaporative emissions system You could have a gasoline vapor leak anywhere from the gas cap to the tank to the engine.
A small leak in the vapor system from the tank to the engine.
