eMail is sent and received using different protocols. There is an error in the settings in your eMail application (e.g. Outlook) for the receive protocol used by Gmail. Find and correct this error and you will be able to both send and receive.
Errors can occur for many reasons. You should try to send the gift again and if you still receive an error message, report it to Stardoll.
If you can receive mail but can't send mail then it may possibly be a fault with the port in which you are using to send the e-mail. Best to Google which port incredimail uses to access the internet, and the open that up withing your hub. Usually you access your hubs setup via your browser typing a local IP address e.g. 192.168.2.1 you may need to find the address for this. As all hubs are different you will need to Google how to open a port on your hub if you are unaware of this. Hope this helps
