Well try your best to talk about something. Say "hi" or anything - once you start talking you will feel more confident in yourself. Remember - don't keep saying boring things. He/she will leave you and talk to somebody else.
If you're really in love, then you will feel more and more confidence as you talk and make conversations. Even small talk like "Hi um...what you doing ?" or something like that. Boys like girls that don't care about make up. They like girls that like to talk to anyone, even if it's the opposite gender.
