The only way to stop them moving is to talk to the animal and when they say that they are moving, select the negative answer like "No, don't go!" or "Awwwww..." If you do that for a few days, the animal may reconsider.
You may also want to send them mail saying nice things.
When you see that they have boxes in their house or when they say they are moving say for them to stay.
Example.
Animal - I'm moving and there is nothing you can do to stop me!
You - No!
Animal - Well, maybe I'll stay.
Its not always like that but just keep saying No in the options when they ask you if they should move.
The best way is to lock them in. You do this by getting an errand (delivering a package/letter to someone) for them or from them. Once you complete it, DONT say "I delivered it!". Until you do, neither of the people involved will be able to move.
Of course, if the animal is already packed, you can only send a heap of letters (with presents) just before you turn off the game for the night and hope they don't move. It usually works.
Well, unfortunately, you can't. When you moved between towns, it opens the gate and it's a natural function of the game to let the characters move between; it's going to happen no matter what you do. If you don't like one of the characters, the best advice I can give is that you should hit them with your net, and answer questions as rudely as possible. Before too long, they SHOULD go away.
When animals in your town have moving boxes in their house, it means that they are moving. To stop them, talk to them and select the option that says 'Don't Go' or something similar to that. If they are stubborn and still say that they are moving, talk to them over and over again until they say that they will think about it. After they say that they will think about it, don't talk to them again until their furniture is set up again in their house. If you do, it might ruin the chance of them staying.
Walk into there face and push um and get your net and throw it on there head. When there on the bridge, trap um by diging two holes at each end while there on the bridge. DONT SEND UM LETTERS! They don't understand whats on um and they like having letters.
DONT TALK TO UM TOO! They will move in no time!
Send them a letter with a gift attached. I did this and they stayed!
send a letter with a present (Fruit will do), and in the letter ask them to stay with whatever you are writing, and they will stay, do that to everyone in the city
Just be mean to them or report them. Every two weeks or so, an animal will announce that it is moving away.
yes
No, you can only sell them, give them away, or put them in tanks in your house.
he will stay all day unless you talk to him then he will swim away
In Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City for Wii simply go to the bus stop in your town and interact with the sign/ bus schedule on the little platform and the bus will appear in seconds to whisk you away to the city. There is no bus to the city in Animal Crossing: Wild World on DS.
Not unless you visit your friends town- that is where they most likely moved.

Just run down to the beach, or to the river, and go into your pockets. Tap the bottle, and then tap "Release." Your bottle will float away.

If you are moving away from the North Pole and crossing lines of Latitude, you are heading for the Equator, and ultimately the South Pole.
