IF THE LEAK IS FROM THE RADIATOR, THERE IS NO FIX EXCEPT TRY THE RADIATOR STOP LEAK CANS OF FIX....IF THAT DON'T WORK, GET A NEW RADIATOR. THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DO!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes. Suggest using "Bars Leak" Anything else may plug up your radiator. Yes, but recognize that stop-leak in any form will only stop the problem temporarily. As the radiator heats and cools it also expands and contracts. Sooner or later, the stop-leak will fail. And it will probably be sooner than later.
The only way that actually works is to change the radiator. "Radiator Stop Leak" products don't really stop anything, except maybe you being able to spend that $5 on a Big Mac or something.
Remove the radiator and replace it or have it repaired by a professional radiator repair shop. Go to Autozone buy STOP LEAK and pour it in the radiator or they have GLUE for leak problem.
The question is referring to pour in type cooling system sealers such as Stop-Leak. If the radiator itself is leaking Stop-Leak will likely come right out as it is designed for small seal and gasket sealing.
