Yes. Suggest using "Bars Leak" Anything else may plug up your radiator. Yes, but recognize that stop-leak in any form will only stop the problem temporarily. As the radiator heats and cools it also expands and contracts. Sooner or later, the stop-leak will fail. And it will probably be sooner than later.
Please advise where the radiator cap is located on a 1994 ford thunderbird. I have to add a stop leak product to stop antifreeze leak and I cannot locate the cap.
The only way that actually works is to change the radiator. "Radiator Stop Leak" products don't really stop anything, except maybe you being able to spend that $5 on a Big Mac or something.
You would pour it in the radiator. Caution, stop leaks usually clogs heater cores.
There should be no problem... I have put in my car in a time of emergency... and it was fine until i could take it to the dealership...
I had the same problem on a 1994 525i. Replace the radiator.
A good stop leak product for a radiator is the Bar's line of stop leak. It comes in an easy to pour bottle which seeks out leaks and seals them in minutes.
change th radiator
stop leak
Barr's Stop Leak is a brand of radiator repair chemicals. Barr's Stop Leak is poured in the radiator and the engine is run at an idle for a few minutes. It will repair small leaks like those that happen if a rock strikes the radiator.
