Your A/C system should have a drain tube, check if it is clogged or missing.
Typically, if your car is leaking water it has to do with the air conditioning system. This simply usually means the condensation is leaking from the AC.
Condensation from air conditioning?
Condensation is normal in the exhaust of automobiles. What may seem like leaking may be just condensation. However if the leaking does not stop after driving, you may need to have it looked at.
The only water that should be leaking from an automobile would be from the condensation drain for the Air Conditioning or from condensation out the exhaust pipe.
If it's just plain water leaving a little puddle under your vehicle it would be condensation from your air conditioning if it has been running.
If your car has air conditioning and if you are %100 percent sure it is straight water then yes, it should be fine. The water you are seeing is just condensation on your AC lines
The two most common possibilities are a plugged up condensation drain for your air conditioning, and a leaking heater core. You will usually smell antifreeze from a leaking heater core. Another less common problem is a leaking windshield gasket.
If it's leaking clear water, probably a bad door seal or a plugged cowl drain or a plugged AC evaporator condensation drain. orIf it's leaking engine coolant, probably a bad heater core.
Have you used your air conditioning lately? The most common reason for water to appear to be leaking on the passenger floorboard is that the condensation drain for the air conditioning is plugged. Unfortunately, the drain is pretty much inaccessible to the average person and I have yet to discover a reasonable method of clearing it other than paying the dealer or a mechanic to do it. The other, less common causes for that type of leak is that the heater core is leaking, in which case the fluid will be antifreeze rather than water, or the door seal on the passenger door may be leaking, or the windshield gasket may be leaking.
We don't know, but here's a guess: check where your air conditioning drains to. A number of cars manage to accidentally drain this in a way that results in the condensation leaking into the passenger compartment.
Water on the floor can be caused by a leaking windshield, a bad heater core, or a plugged drain line for the air conditioning condensation. If the water is warm when it comes out, or smells sweet, it is from the heater core.
