Lordy, lordy, there is so much of this ... rich husbands, expensive lawyers and a housewife who has done a terrific job of managing the home, entertainment and more importantly raising children. While she was busy doing this she lost power! I am sure your situation is much more complicated than you were allowed to post on this board. You can contact me safely on this board if you so choose and go into more detail. There are two ways you can manage this. Find a good lawyer to fight him back! Wives usually own half of everything, but if he is into big business I am sure he has filled in all the loop holes. Still, you are entitled to 1/2 of most of what he has. Also, you have a legal right to see your children. Time to try and hunt down some dirt on this guy so this may mean you will have to hire a detective. Although your husband may appear to be powerful he isn't. Everyone has a weak spot. Find it! He is probably having affairs, he could be doing drugs, and for sure, I bet his bookkeeping leads one to wonder, so try hitting him where it hurts .... his accounting! This will take a very good detective and a lawyer that is on your side (try finding a woman lawyer with a good background in such matters.) Secondly, have a good plan, and take the children, change your name and live somewhere else (preferably out of the country.) There are groups that can help you with this. Unfortunately, if you go this route there is no turning back and you won't be able to come back into the country. It's a terrible way to live and you will always be looking over your shoulder. Mainly, it's a strain on the children. Your husband has to prove the very lies they are telling in court, so think! How is he able to do this? If he said you were chasing around with a man every night (and you weren't) then it's heresay evidence in court, so how is he proving to the courts all the lies he is telling about you? This doesn't make sense. The next time your husband enters the house, or you meet with him, tape the conversation! If he is threatening you or your children you'll have it on tape. Many judges will allow tapes to be played in court and be used as evidence. Stop worrying, get mad, fight for your kids, and think smart! Good luck Marcy

Talking to his wife in bad words?

If a husband is being abusive with bad language or physical abuse such as hitting, slapping, etc. this should not be tolerated. You need to talk to your husband and tell him how you feel about this, if he doesn't stop you may need to leave him and live with other family members especially if you have children.

How can one stop a narcissistic father from verbally abusing his four year old son?

That wouldn't be easy. If he is really an abuser (rather than someone who just loses his temper sometimes) then this would be incredibly difficult. He is verbally abusive in order to establish control. Try talking to your son and see how he is; see what effect this is having on him.
