If you mean shoot them down, you cant. The only thing you can do is take it if its been fired. However (I've never tried this) they may get destroyed if you can blow up the silos they were launched from and they (the missles) may dissapear. Also sendinding jet fighters might work but i doubt it. I've had jets fly near missles but they didn't fire.

if you have air craft over the missile base while the ICBM is launched it destroys the missile or you could have anti air guns in between the missile and target they should destroy it

What else can I help you with?

It started with the Soviets setting up launch bases, in Cuba, that could hold Inter-Mediate Ballistic Missiles (IRBM). After a lot of laws and failed missions, the Soviets decided that they will remove the missiles from Cuba, if the US would remove the missiles from Turkey, and around Europe.

How was the Space Program related to the Cold War?

Missiles! When the Soviets (Russians) launched man's first satellite (Sputnik) into outer space in 1957 that indicated that they would have the "edge" in launching ICBMs (Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles) against the US. Like control of the air (air superiority) for warfare, control of space (space superiority) would dictate who would win the next war.
